About TROJMUN

Trojské gymnázium Model United Nations (TROJMUN) is an exciting MUN held annually in Troja, Prague. The event is primarily organized by the students of Trojské gymnázium, all of whom have a passion for international politics and debate.

Each year, TROJMUN offers a variety of committees for delegates to participate in, based on real committees from the United Nations. It also offers 2 unique committees each year. One such committee is the business congress, where delegates participate as representatives of international companies rather than countries. This year, committees may also participate as representatives of the European council in the European Union.

TROJMUN26

TROJMUN26, held in March 2026, was the second iteration of the conference. This year, the conference had the honor of hosting the opening ceremony at the Czech National Bank (ČNB), while the closing ceremony was held at the historic National house of Vinohrady. This conference had 2 unique committees, the Czech Parliament, where delegates represented czech political parties and debated on national issues, and the business congress, where delegates represented international companies. This TROJMUN was also unique in the fact that the secretariat was made up completely of women.

TROJMUN25

In March of 2025, the TROJMUN conference was organized for the first time ever by a group of students from Trojské gymnázium, who decided to host their own MUN conference after attending multiple other conferences around Prague. The opening ceremony took place at the Czech National Bank (ČNB), with Trojské gymnázium as the primary venue for debate. The closing ceremony was held at the Prague new city hall. The conference was a huge success, with over 100 delegates and 6 committees, and layed the groundwork for future TROJMUN conferences.
